The Story

Three acts, one boat

From wreck to open water in a decade

Act I · 2017

The Wreck

Found rotting on stands in Brookings Harbor, Oregon. Leo bought her for $1 from the Albert Strange Association and moved her 600 miles to the Olympic Peninsula to begin the most ambitious amateur boat restoration in YouTube history.

Act II · 2017–2024

The Rebuild

Seven years of work documented in 200+ episodes. New keel, frames, planking, deck, rig — rebuilt from the ground up with traditional methods. Funded entirely by the community that grew around the videos.

Act III · 2024–2027

The Voyage

14,000 miles from the Pacific Northwest to the UK. Down the coast, through the Panama Canal, across the Caribbean and the Atlantic. The goal: the 2027 Fastnet Race — the centenary of Tally Ho's original victory.
